Teaching Essential Skills

Our Program

We Teach People to Read

We provide free and confidential help for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, math, and other basic literacy skills. We match tutors with those who need basic reading and writing skills or wish to learn English as a second language. Tutors and students meet at a public location and a time most convenient for them. All contact between the tutors, students and LVODC remains strictly confidential.
